Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang. Overnight at Homestay Ha Giang
Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00. It is time for the bustling city to move to Ha Giang through Tuyen Quang province. We arrived in Ha Giang around noon. We will stay in a local village house and have lunch. After having lunch with a local family. We can walk around the village. Meeting and talking with local villagers will help you understand the culture of the Thai minority of Vietnam. Dinner will be served by a local host. Stay overnight in a house.
Day 2: Ha Giang – An Minh. Overnight at Homestay
After breakfast with a local host. After that, we bid farewell to the local owners and moved on to our next destination, Yen Minh. But we can have a short visit to Ha Giang Museum. This is one of the most interesting places in Ha Giang. After that, we continued our trip to the East Aragon Plateau. We stopped on our way through Pine Hill. Especially visiting Hongdao Village. We arrived in An Minh town late one afternoon. Overnight at a local hotel.
Day 3: Yen Minh – Dong Van – Meo Vac. Overnight at Meo Vac homestay
Today our trip will start at 8:00 and continue our journey to Dong Van Rock Plateau. On the way, we will stop to visit the Hmong village in Lung Cam, the residence of the Vuong family, still known as “The Hmong Mansion”. After lunch and a short rest, we continue to drive to Meo Vac town. Along the way, we stopped to enjoy the scenery and take some photos of the Mapiling Pass. Arrive in Meo Vac, and check in at a local hotel to rest. Then, if time permits, we may have a chance to visit a Hmong village near the town. Dinner at Meo Vac and overnight at a local restaurant.
Day 4: Meo Vac – Quan Ba
After breakfast. We pay to visit the colorful market in Meo Vac. There you will have a chance to see how the locals trade here. Through the market, our guide will detail how people must dress before going to the market. After that, we started our journey back to Quan Son town – Quang Ba. After arriving at Quan Ba in Anming City, we had lunch at a local restaurant. We will then stop at Long Dam Village, a Miao village, where you will learn how the locals weave brocade. Check-in at the hotel for dinner and overnight in Quan Ba.
Day 5: Quan Ba – Hanoi
On the road all-day
After breakfast, enjoy a day driving back to Hanoi. Lunch will be provided along the way. Return to Hanoi around 5:00 pm.
