National Highway No. 10 connects Nam Dinh and Thanh Hoa provinces, and National Highway No. 12B connects Hoa Binh Province.

There are so many buses from Hanoi to Ninh Binh every day. You can book a luxury van that includes transfers to the Three Valleys, where there are plenty of charming accommodation options. 

A private car makes the journey faster. For those with more time, several trains run daily from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. The best way to get around Ninh Binh is by motorbike or taxi. Cycling is a great option for travelers staying in Three Valleys

The ancients got this name because the temple is surrounded by green trees and the scenery is quiet.  Bich Dong Pagoda was founded in 1428 under the rule of King Ly Thai To on the Truong Yen limestone mountain range in the Hoa Lu district. 

In 1705, two monks, Tri Kien and Tri The, came here and discovered the cave, which hides a temple behind dense vines.
